Accessibility Statement
Taylor Made TDS, Inc. dba Taylor Made Truck Driving School
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Last Updated: May 26, 2026
Taylor Made TDS, Inc. (doing business as Taylor Made Truck Driving School) is committed to making our website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We target compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the current international standard for web accessibility.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checkbox. We welcome feedback and are committed to continuous improvement. In May 2026, we conducted a comprehensive accessibility audit of this site and are actively remediating identified barriers; we will update this statement as that work progresses.
Our website is built with accessibility in mind. We build with semantic HTML structure, meaningful alt text for images, keyboard-navigable menus, sufficient color contrast, and responsive design that works across screen sizes and assistive technologies. We review our site regularly and address accessibility issues as they are identified.
Some third-party content — such as embedded maps or external links — may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We note these limitations honestly and work to minimize their impact.
Our WCAG 2.1 AA Commitments
We are actively working toward conformance with the following WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria:
- Non-text content should have meaningful text alternatives
- Color should not be the sole means of conveying information
- We aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
- Functionality should be accessible via keyboard, not mouse alone
- Users should be able to navigate, find content, and determine where they are
- No content should flash more than 3 times per second
- Text should be readable and predictable in behavior
- Pages should operate in predictable ways
- Forms and inputs should help users avoid and correct errors
- Content should be compatible with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, magnifiers, and voice control software
Training Program Accommodations
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities in our CDL training programs, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable Washington State law.
If you have a disability or medical condition that may affect your ability to obtain a CDL, please contact us before enrollment so we can discuss your needs and advise you on steps and resources to obtain approval for your CDL from Washington State and the Federal government.
